Hi! I’m Elizabeth
I am a mental health nurse and yoga teacher.
I found yoga in the midst of my nursing training in 2015 as a way to move my body and de-stress from work. I loved the way it made me feel physically and mentally and I was totally hooked! I decided to take the plunge and become a teacher and have been teaching since 2022.
Yoga is a fantastic practice for reawakening the body and slowing down the mind. It has really changed my perception of the world and of life. It has made me feel stronger and more supple physically, mentally and spiritually. Because it has changed my life, I am convinced it can change everyone's life!
I love sharing the wisdom and teachings of yoga combined with my knowledge of mental health issues and techniques for recovery and finding good mental and physical wellbeing.
I am SO passionate about helping people to arm themselves with the skills to cope with the ebbs and flows of life, improving their wellbeing, resilience and living a life that allows them to shine bright as they are rather than feeling oppressed by their stresses.
You are already a bright shining light, sometimes you just need reminding.
Outside of work and yoga, I feel most happy when I'm outdoors feeling immersed in nature doing something active like hiking up a mountain or gardening. I also love singing, crafts, and spending time with my amazing friends and family.
